In 2020 VicSynchro passed a major milestone: ten years of synchro at the O'Brien Icehouse. The pandemic delayed the Celebration Event, but in December 2021 we were finally able to get together to mark the occasion.
The event included a presentation on the previous ten years, starting with the very first demo skate by our On Edge adult team to Rock It at the 2010 Australian Figure Skating Championships, program, and continuing right through all the highlights, including:
On Edge's first AFSC medal in 2011
Creation of new teams: Finesse in 2012, Harmony in 2014, Eclipse in 2017
The official incorporation of VicSynchro club in 2017
Our first international competitions with Eclipse competing in Austria and Switzerland
Sending 21 teams to the Australian Championships, and bringing home 10 medals

Thanks to all our skaters, parents, coaches, and helpers over the last ten years. VicSynchro will return in 2022 and hopes to get a full season with State and National Championships for all our teams.
